Don't delay! More changes to the feed-in tariff are coming.

On 9th February 2012, the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) announced plans to reduce the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) rate for solar PV systems installed after 1st April to 21p/kWh. But more cuts are coming! Solar PV systems installed after 1st July 2012 will receive a lower rate of between 13.6p and 16.5p. This rate is dependent on the amount of solar PV installations completed in the UK between March and April 2012.

What happens after 1st July 2012?

As well as reducing the FIT rate to as low as 13.6p, DECC have announced plans to cut the FIT rate by a further 5% in October 2012 and then by 10% every six months thereafter. The government may also reduce the tariff lifetime from 25 years to 20 years, and is also considering changing the inflation-link of the tariff. In short, don't delay or you could lose out! Our competitively priced systems still give you an acceptable return on investment.

If your PV system is installed before the FIT deadline of 1st July 2012, you will receive the current FIT rate of 21p.
